Democrats must purge Pelosi-backed Hakeem, install new leaders

We’re done being polite.

While the nation slides further into the abyss—dragged down by right-wing authoritarianism, evangelical fascism, and corporate cowardice—the Democratic leadership in Congress dithers, delays, and dares not upset the apple cart.

Hakeem Jeffries, the so-called “Leader” of House Democrats, is more interested in decorum than democracy, more preoccupied with optics than with offense.

And let’s call it what it is! Complicity in cowardice.

Jeffries has reportedly asked his caucus to tone down attacks on Donald Trump.

To show restraint.

To not be “too aggressive.”

This, while the ex-president threatens judges, vows to round up immigrants into camps, and promises a government “on day one” that will purge dissent like some Third World junta.

This, while books are banned, trans people are hunted in state legislatures, LGBTQ rights are openly targeted, DEI is dismantled, and the Supreme Court sharpens its knives to tear up marriage equality.

And Hakeem Jeffries says play nice?!

This is not a rehearsal.

This is not a debate club.

This is a war for the soul of this nation.

And while the far right sharpens its teeth and rips into civil liberties, Jeffries and the Pelosi-stamped, donor-cuddled Democratic “leadership” are handing out dull butter knives to the troops and calling it strategy.

We don’t need empty metaphors about “not taking the bait.”

We need leaders who fight back—loudly, passionately, and relentlessly.

We need dogs that bite with sharpened teeth, not poodles that pose for press photos.

Step aside, Hakeem.

Make room for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has consistently called out fascism by name, not hidden behind recycled press statements.

Make way for Rep. Jasmine Crockett, whose righteous fury and truth-telling on the House floor is the fire we need to burn down complacency.

These women aren’t afraid.

They’re not moderating their message to appeal to swing voters who still think bipartisanship is possible with a party that tried to overthrow the government.

The Democratic Party needs a purge of the old guard.

Because what we have now is a geriatric, frightened, donor-placating circus of invertebrates.

It’s a bunch of circus monkeys aimlessly dancing up and down the trunk of a stinking, decaying, decrepit elephant—and they call that “leadership.”

Enough.

You don’t stop fascism by politely asking it to reconsider.

You drag it down, tooth and nail, with righteous fury, unapologetic boldness, and a generation of leaders ready to fight like hell.

Jeffries and his ilk had their chance.

Step down. Or be swept away.
